yeah its a taste thing, don't enjoy RPG's unless theres something interesting to read. for example the mc maybe and chet game hell yeah ima play that! cause its going to be funny! however the final fantasy movies are dope. just don't like the games.

Yeah, to be honest... I'm not one for Final Fantasy either, I found the game dull. I played Oblivion though, which is an RPG... I liked it.

i love Oblivion. and what i like about it is that it IS different from Final Fantasy.

But I think that is just cause you can't warp everywhere, takes the whole point out of having a huge world

yea that's what i like about Morrowind too. also, i hate how in Oblivion leveling up really doesn't matter cuz the monsters are still your level. something that didn't happen in Morrowind.

Final Fantasy X.

i could never understand how somebody couldn't like an RPG. unless it had an extremely retarded story or somethin. is it cuz action games hold your hand through the whole thing and tell you where to go? cuz it seems all my friends that don't like RPG's say the same thing "i don't know what to do".

for me RPG is the best genre, because its never goni get old, FPS will always need to go by the rules, with some little twists (slow mo, new cover system ?) but except from little changes every game is the same gameplay on a different setting, its only a matter of time till there's nothing new they can add to the genre, even now to make FPS better they are adding RPG elements to it to keep it fresh and new (mass effect, fallout 3).think of one of the biggest game this year everyone talks about, GTA4 now what did that game have that no other game has every had ever....nothing, the biggest gameplay change was the cover style thats the same cover style thats been used in 50 games before GTA4, only difference is it was done smoother coz of the extra power in the PS3 so there not adding anything new there just perfecting elements with the other genre's, same goes for sports..nothing new just perfecting what they already have, with RPG's they can overhaul the complete battle system every single game, they can have as many wacky and different mini games as they want..they can do just about whatever they want and its never goin to get old because they have no rules and no limits to what they can change.

its goin to get to the point EVERY game is based on a RPG system. i already think every game (excluding some genre's) should have stat arttributes to go by, since progression of skill is one of the most realistic things you can put in a game, think tomb raider but you got to train to get your character skilled enough to pull of the tricky jumps and crazy climbing, but if you dont wanne take that route you get better with your shooting and instead of climbing up the building and sneaking past the bad guys, you go in guns blazing coz your a demon with ya pistol.

yeh i know i was just showing examples of how the FPS genre and RPG genre are merging more and more to create some of the best game in recent times. fallout 3 is a good example because its more likely goin to be the best example of these 2 genre's working well together

F.E.A.R. cause you seriously don't know what the fuck is going on and you thinking what the fuck is this girl doing. Slow Mo makes the FPS more cooler while the freakyness makes it more spooky. Then you go and read the plot in Wikipedia and you say, damm I wanna play Project Origin!
