what about everyone acting like just nas, ice cube and game dropped albums?
I mean, Rick Ross - lame. Lil Wayne - lame.
I mean, I liked about 4 tracks by Ross, he has the potential, but he plain fucks up. don't get why everyone was bumping Boss.
so that also compensates this year to the 'bad side'. and of course there's way more good and lame albums. let's not forget the good The Only Color that Matters is Green ^^ damn right good album.

the game's shit was good
cube's was iight, not his best tho
Nas's was ok...I hate the fact that hes a fucking racist but ehh whatever floats your boat :y:
Young Jeezy's album COULD have been better if he wouldnt have had those faggot ass horrible beats...
lil wayne's album..well Mr. Carter was preety good because of Jay's verse...other than that it was straight bullshit

lol I found that funny cause all the reviews I read say that the best thing about the cd was the beats lol

I didn't like anything about it, but the nas feat.

the beat blew hard bro

I heard 2 great albums from this year. "Killer" by Tech N9ne and "Vitiligo" by Big Krizz Kaliko. A third nice album was "Tales from the sick" by Prozak and a lot of nice songs were released this year. It was a nice year If I count only songs released this year. But if I count everythin' I heard this year, this year was the best since 2005 when I first heard Eminem (of course most o what I heard of him was from earlier years). 2007 was very good too. Basiclly because of underground shit I heard, cuz the mainstream was mostly whack. I gotta add "The only color that matters is green" by Pace Won and Mr. Green. This album was very good.

i think i hasnt been that good but if you like at hiphop in general its been better than recent years. there have been many huge names that have a made a release : game, g-unit, nas, snoop, cube, jezzy, fat joe, wanye, ross, plies . plus 2008 isnt even over yet at other artists nelly, ti, dj khald and many more. so 2008 is a comeback year for hiphop

nas was a classic
Raw footage was aa 5/6
L.A.X, a little dissapointment, but it has grown on me
Lil wayne..its sold a lot, but i dont like it.

but 4th quarter is always the best
But dmx is coming, so does luda, busta, bishop lamont, cashis(recently found out that royce & em was featured on a mr.porter-produced track) so im hyped :D
Detox is coming..do we belive that?
And 50 hopes, and eminem ofc

About Nas, i don't like the way he exploits the fact he's black to moan "ohhhh everyone's racist to me, everyone lets use their word against them even more than we already do"

As for 2008, if you consider that the popular shit is what most people will get a first impression of rap from , it's by far the most terrible year.

this yeah has been alright like (tech n9nes-)KILLER), (the game-L.A.X), (ice cube- Raw Footage),(Tha Carter III by Lil' Wayne), ( Untitled by Nas), (Snoop Dogg - 'Ego Trippin), (Bun B - 'II Trill), (T.I. - 'Paper Trail). so yeahh i would be great if stat quo,,cashis,,bobby creekwater,,eminem,dr.dre and or D12 would put out an album.

let me say this if Eminem drop, Joe Budden drops, Jay-Z drops then this would have been an amazing year for Rap.

all that's missing is a 2pac album :( , ehh i'm sure he'll drop one soon after 2008
