you know the random forts you run into? then you go through it, fight a bunch of skeletons, reach the end of it (or ends of it), what's the point? i've never gotten anything out of it. is it just something to do or is there actually something worth going through them for?

Some rare loot in em... You usually need to find a secret spot with a locked chest, or dungeon boss...

Vampire ones are best, they have the best loot... Just careful not to get infected.

oh ok. so then it's something i'm not noticing? cuz there's alot of times i felt i wasted my time for going in a cave or whatever and got nothing.

this is a review from some average gamer about the "12 things he didn't like" about Oblivion. in it he states that he created an assassin character but said it was useless cuz you can never sneak attack anybody. he must seriously not know how to play the game.

It was sort of pointless... Not enough new shit to be an expansion if you ask me.. nice new gear though.

yea i like the new items. i didn't mind it to much, but the end result felt lame. you become the new king and yet the rest of the world doesn't even seem to care. as if they didn't even know. "oh by the way, i'm the king" "oh seriously? didn't know that. anyway what do you want?"

i've just started the Thieves guild for the first time, and is it just me or is this faction more fun to play through than the others?

the Thieves Guild has you kill everyone in a house? cool, the Dark Brotherhood had one like that too. i enjoy the Brotherhood, but i didn't like having to go to random places to pick up orders.

Almost. Theres a lot of armor and weapons that are extremely rare, one is hidden in the necromancers cave on that mission towards the end.

But for the most part, yeah. I wouldn't waist time getting them though, the Golden set is the best, you get that when you finish the main game... but for running around the world, the suit you get from the Dark Brotherhood is best.

it's been so long that i've played the main quest with a character i forgot what the Golden set was :sweating: .

and from the dark brotherhood are you talkin about the "Shrouded" lether stuff that comes with a matching hood?
