Well I compiled a list of my top 50 emcees of all time.

Some of you may think his list is wack. Which is fine.

I am just trying to spark some discussion here.

Who do you think should be lower? Higher? Not there? Or someone you think deserves to be there?

My only request is, have an open mind. Keep it an intelligent conversation, folks.

Well, in my opinion, if one does not write his own rhymes, he does not belong here.

I respect Dre for what he does for hip hop production-wise. But if he doesnt write his own stuff, he can't be a top 50 emcee, can he?

And have you listened to any of Proof's solo ish? He is a beast...

50 shouldnt be on there, and you put weaker emcee's (you yourself sayed you were goin by emcee's not rapppers, and no im not de-ducting people points for not rhyming like demons lol) higher than stronger people, like talib is easily way up with the big puns, kayne west is defiantly not a good enough emcee to be on there, neither is ja rule.

Lupe... iono... he might be OK where he is, I think he can be a little overrated...

50 is too high, but he has to be on there... Power of the Dollar and GROTD were strong enough albums to ensure that.

And Ja should be lower. But he still can spit. Sometimes.

yes, biggie easily he released 2 good album but they were same concepts don't u think we'd have gotten bored by the third album, i believe yes... easily... just cause he died doesn't mean his next album's caliber will be as good as his first 2.

jay, easily he's a good rapper dont get me wrong but i never could connect with jayz, nas maybe, maybe not, i love nas he's easily one of my favs so all depends on my mood, pac yes and no.. i connect with pac in many songs but i connect with eminem in just as many but eminem has way more complex lyrics, but that's debatable...

so there you have it.
