Geauga County Sheriff Dan McClelland tells Fox 8 News, Alex Pfister, 33, stabbed his wife, Marileyda Pfister, 30, around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. According to McClelland, the couple began arguing over the fact that Marileyda was in the process of filling for divorce.
Marileyda's two children, 15 and 10 years-old, and the couple's 5-year-old, were all in the house at the time of the stabbing.
Alex Pfister called 911 after the stabbing.
In the 911 tape, Alex Pfister told the sheriff's dispatcher "I stabbed my wife."
"You stabbed your wife?" the dispatcher asked.
"Yeah."
"Did you do it intentionally?" she asked.
"Yeah," he responded. "I stabbed her four or five times ... she's not breathing, get the (expletive) paramedics to the house."
According to McClelland, Marileyda had filed a personal protection order against her husband and police in Chardon acknowledge that officers had been to the couple's home at 11871 Aquilla Road in the past responding to domestic incident calls.
Pfister was arraigned on an aggravated murder charge on Thursday morning. He is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
A family member has assumed custody of the children in the interim.

You might be wondering why I'm posting this since things like this happen all the times, but I know one of the kids. He was pretty quiet, I wouldn't call my self friends with him but I have talked to him before.
