As we previously reported, T.I. and his Paper Trail album debuted number 1 this week and thats not the only chart he is currently king of. On Billboards Hot 100, he broke the record for the largest climb to the number one spot, something he did before 6 weeks ago. As the second single from the Paper Trail album, "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna went from number 80 to number 1, replacing his own first single "Whatever You Like" [listen here]. The last time he broke the record for the largest gain, he went from 71st to number one.
T.I. became the first artist to replace himself at number 1 since Usher traded in his "Burn" FOR "Confessions Part II" back in July of 2004. This weeks sales equaled 7.47 million units sold, which is up 15.7% from last week (although is down 16.1% from the same time last year).
