Do You Care About Bonus Material ?

by this i mean are you happy to pay more because there is bonus material ?

i was in the town, looking around the dvd's in tescos and wanted to pick up a copy of batman begins, i find one and its £14 i didnt have that much on me so that sucked, but i noticed it was the 2 disc special edition with loads of bonus material, so i asked a person working there is they had a 1 disc edition with no bonus material, they did and it was only £8 so i bought that version.

got me thinking though, is it really worth forking over more money for the bonus material ?

i think its pretty cool seeing behind the scene's and the making of, especially if you really like the film coz you get into it alot more, but when i seen the price gap i was like hell no it aint worth it. Im happy to buy dvd's i enjoy watching them on a big TV alot more than a download, i also enjoy having the DVD in a physical copy, same thing with cd's, but from now on, im buying the shitty 1 disc movie only dvd's and downloading the bonus material, coz its cool, but it aint worth the £6 they charge for somehting thats suppose to be a "bonus".

Depends what the movie is, but in most cases I'll only buy the single disk. If I was really into the movie though, I'd deffinetly get the Special Edition. All that bonus material can sometimes be pretty sweet, depending on what they throw on it.
