AMAZING game...

all i did was fly thru the main story only veering off for a tiny bit and i beat the story in just under 12 hours.

ive had the game for about a week since it leaked to the internet and now im going back thru to do the rest of the quests.

this game owns my life lmfao

i dont get the point in rushing through games, sure you could do that then replay, but exploring everywere you can the first time through is the way it should be done imo. coz then everything is a suprise lol

^guess thats a good point.

i got one of them personalities though were i delibretly put of doin stuff to gain more hype for it, like when playing final fantasy (for an example) ill do all the side quests, get the best weapons from the shop same with armor, do any hunts or side quests like that and then go to the place were the story progresses.

I kinda rush through games cause sometimes you just wanna experience everything there is to experience as soon as possible.

I remember i played Mario Galaxy pretty much from waking up till going to sleep non-stop for a week so that i could get 100% completion.

Well based on all these great comments, I really want to get/rent this game now.
But will the storyline make sense to me even though I haven't played any of the other Fallout games?

None of the games are connected, so your be good to go.

Your on earth, nuke went off, fucked world, people move to hatches, you come out of hatch

That's pretty much the backstory of all 3 lol

Fucking awesome.
Can't wait to play it.

Hate to bump an older topic..but I picked up this game 3 days ago. I really went in to buy Mortal Kombat VS. DC, but it was sold out. The guy at Gamestop told me to try Fallout 3 and I knew nothing about it. I bought it. I have to admit, the first day I was having a hard time playing it. It was confusing and I wanted to return it, lol. I never really played RPG time games before. But now it's like the 3rd of 4th day I'm hooked. It's the funnest game I played in a long time. Definitely worth the buy. I'm now getting the hang of it so I started over. Missed a lot of stuff and shot everone the first time :y:

The first time I played this I was finding it hard to enjoy but now I'm in love with it. It's a great game, at the moment I've done 50 hours and I haven't finished it yet cause I'm doing all side quests and some main quests. I'm level 19 nearly 20 on really bad karma.
