The Election-John or Barack?

Postby Emadyville » Oct 16th, '08, 23:33

Since zshare isn't working, go to http://www.myspace.com/ddubswinchto hear my new song. Feedback please! I'll post the lyrics soon on here.

It's election time and with this critical mess,
I'm nervous, there's so much visual stress,
Gallop polls on the news it's a political guess,
But in the end, there will be an individual left,
So much is bubblin in the house of republicans,
Their skin is bubblin if Barack runs the government,
So I need to speak on this general election,
If John wins there better be a federal inspection,
Because we need change to not remain hopeless,
I wrote this to put the truth into focus,
Posted it for all and worked on my flow-just,
To remind you of how George Bush was bogus,
And his approval rating was worse than Nixon's,
HE ruined America now we have to start fixin,
Everything...it's one big catastrophe,
Yes I'm voting Obama there's no reason even asking me,

I suppose I should start when the man was sworn in,
After votes in Florida already gave us a Gore win,
That was first and next is the worst tragedy,
September 11th, you know my stance automatically,
And after that he signed and passed the patriot act,
Now we're all martyrs we'll never get a patriot back,
Freedom of speech is gone not to mention habius corpus,
I could be locked up before they play me a chorus,
Our rights are gone and all the penalties hardened,
Unless you're Scooter Libby, in that case you're pardoned,
Bush is on top of a hill screaming Geronimo,
While those who spoke out are down in Guantanomo,
He forced us to believe Iraq was a smart move,
Then we go and so many lives we start to lose,
And completely forget we were after Osama,
That may be one reason I'm voting Obama,

How can we ignore the George Bush economy,
We got raped without charges of sodomy,
Oil companies laugh as they screw us in the ass,
Making billions off what they're doing with the gas,
Then our currency becomes an economic emergency,
We never turned to see us get burned in the third degree,
Pharmecuitical markets target sick and needy,
With government support cause politicians are greedy,
So they profit like who cares if they're on welfare,
They never made a change or tried to fix healthcare,
Now another crisis this one with home mortgages,
Pensions are gone, no 401k storages,
Now what about our future and the national debt?
It's up trillions, cause he took irrational steps,
When Bush leaves will there be a capital left?
Just go and vote, and don't forget this factual mess...

Take a look at his rating of approval,
He should of been impeached no debating his removal,
November fourth, let your voice be heard,
Stay the same or change, the choice is yours...

Not much for the concept, i'm sick of this election bullshit already.

Like the beat
Acapella is much too low, i can't even really understand it.
Flow sounds like it might be decent underneath that.
I don't judge on quality, but this i can't even hear it.

Like djblue said, raise the volume then re-up it if you want people to understand fully.

What i think is the hook sounded pretty good, ignoring that it was still pretty low volume.

Yeah I thought it was low to, if you got headphones I think you'll be able to hear it better.

Ok well i know it's not as loud as it could be, but I can still hear it, I'm sure you can hear it enough to give some feed on the lyrics, flow, content, or something. And sorry it's a political track, I wrote it 2 weeks ago but only got to record it 2 days ago.

gave you feed over AIM

but i love the song. your lyrics are verrrry solid and your rhyming is top notch. flow is pretty solid. and your delivery is much better than what it was.

not much else to say. good song, as kez said the concept is a little played but hey, gotta voice your opinion and what better way than a song to do it.

8.5/10

McMaybe wrote:A lot of your subject matter is wrong. For example, did you know the economy was dropped only after a democrat was elected for congress? Not because of Bush. Bush was bad for many reasons, but he didn't "ruin" the United States.

Besides the many mistakes in your claims, the song was pretty good.

I hear you, it was a democratic congress, but the housing collapse was years in the making, we learned about this in my accounting class. It was because the government allowed the mortgages when they knew people wouldn't pay. This song is just my opinion, and he didn't "ruin" America, but I think because of him we will be fucked for a long time. This song was just my opinion, just bringing to light everything that happened during his term. Thanks for feeding though I appreciate it, glad you thought it was pretty good.

If that's supposed to be some "omg people arent giving me proper feed" euphemistic whine, fuck you you ungrateful cunt.

I don't judge on volume qualities/quality itself unless it's really really bad, because often people can't help it.

But if you wanna be a prick about it you can fuck off then.
