10/24/08 Bow Wow Preps Album, Tour And Voting Event

Bow Wow plans to release his new album "New Jack City Part II" on December 16th. The album is led by its first single "Marco Polo" [listen/watch here] featuring Soulja Boy. Bow Wow will have a video in November for his single "Sunshine" produced by Jermaine Dupri and plans to support his album with a short installment on the Scream tour (although no dates are available). In addition to his new album, Bow Wow will be featued in the new movie "Hurricane Season" (on December 5th) plus has a current character on HBO's "Entourage."

In related news, yesterday Bow Wow released his new single "Big Girls" [listen here]. Bow Wow recently announced [watch here] that he is also leading an event to encourage and educate the youth about voting. The campaign called "Walk Across America" will feature Bow Wow on stops all across the United States.

Bow Wow has teamed up with Bow Wow to target young voters. Bow Wow's Walk Across America Campaign will help educate the youth about voting. "It's important for the youth to participate because we're tomorrow's leaders,” says Bow Wow. We need to make sure that our voices are heard and have a say in the decisions that will affect our lives and our country for years to come.”
