Jay-Z and LeBron James to Rally Obama Supporters at "Last Chance for Change" Concert in Cleveland

Seven-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist Jay-Z and NBA star LeBron James will rally Obama supporters and encourage early voting at a "Last Chance for Change" event in Cleveland Wednesday. The event will include a special concert by internationally known hip-hop artist Jay-Z. James will host the event and encourage Ohioans to vote early and support Obama's efforts to bring the change we need to Washington.

The event will be held at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. It is free and open to all Ohio residents and students, but tickets are required. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For more information please call (216) 322-0548.

LeBron James rallied with Jay-Z tonight helping promote Obama's campaign by giving everyone in Cleveland a free concert. I was there tonight, and it was a very great experience. It was hard for me to steer away from Jay-Z's prior motives for LeBron's departure at first, but as the show went on, my grudge started to disappear.

LeBron stayed on stage all night with Jay-Z hyping up the crowd. It's amazing how much this city adores him. The moment he picked up the mic the arena just blew up and never died down.

Love him or hate him, Jay-Z was amazing and it was easy to see why LeBron likes to be around him so much. The man is a rock star, an icon and a good Samaritan. He even busted out in a new pair of LeBron 6's and gave them away before he left the stage.

Anyhow, I wish I was close enough to take my own photos of the event. As an alternative, we will just have to deal with these getty images instead.

I actually didn't end up going.. .. I like Brons Ohio chain tho.
