10/28/08 Lil Wayne Refuses Security, Misses Show

Lil Wayne was set to perform and co-headline with Jay-Z at the JAM'N 94. Monster Jam in Boston last night (10/28) but had to pull out. Weezy reportedly refused to go through the Banknorth Garden security and left the venue without taking the stage. To make up for the absense of Weezy, Jay-Z took the stage with his nine-piece band and Cleveland Cavalier Lebron James standing in the background to even treat fans to a few encores long after his set was over.

Other performers on the bill for the show included Ne-Yo, who brought out Jadakiss, Yung Berg, and Brandy who surprised the crowd with an appearance from her brother Ray J.

This isn't the first time that Lil Wayne pulled out of a show. Weezy also refused to go through security and skipped his performance at a Fashion Rocks Show this past September.
