IceKilla wrote:first off, beat is sick. but as most people have said, need more emotion. how to do that, which nobody seems to have clarified, is to just put more air behind your voice. it doesn't mean yell, it just means speak LOUD. that's what i did on Soon You'll See, which has not been released yet, and you thought it was sick. lyrics are decent, and yea, delivery was somewhat off. but like i said, just speak loudly, and it'll sound better.![]()
flow wise, don't read lyrics. practice like 3 times or so before actually recording, so you'll have some of it memorized. because i can tell when ur reading, u pause for a split second to read the next line. so have at least the beginning memorized, so u'll be spitting, and can be reading bottom lines for reference![]()
and like they said, play it in headphones. then just mix it over beat. and if u can't mix it, send it to me. i'm always up for some mixing. i'm helping out makeveli as we speak

I think you have potential, just remember to add more energy bro
Boston wrote:yoooooo before i even judge this i want to say this beat is oh so familiar to me
these Boston rappers did a song to that, so at least that earns you some points
but to be serious now, i honestly really cant judge this because i can barely hear it.
i mean at least you have um..inspiration? i dont know lol, at least you put effort into making music even if it is with a camera. but you need to put more emotion into it, it would help if you remembered your lyrics and try visualizing them. try to ride the beat, find a flow your comfortable with. keep it up. keep practicing and improvement will come.
p.s - send that beat to me if you dont mind
