and i agree with pimp.. i didnt know most of these.. seemed like they stayed primarily in one category

maybe its because most rap is horrible?
or is it just rap in general

your a disgrace to rap and should be ashamed to even make a rap song if that's what you think :n:

To be fair, practically all rap past 2000 (besides Eminem obviously) is shit. We need the Beastie Boys back.

But you must've at least heard of the names, or artists. I mean, I don't care for pop, rap or dance much, yet I'd be able to recognise them.

you don't have to hear new music, there's million other rap artists with albums released before 2000 that are sick and most probably you haven't heard. looking for new music from mainstream besides your fav rappers new music is lame these days.

but still man, sticcy is being disrespectful to rap, when no one in this thread was disrespectful to rock.

Word! That song is epic! :worship:

But in my opinion, I think "Smells like teen spirit" should be in at least the top 3.
The #1 song isn't even good. :confusion:

well you obviously haven't been listening to music lately. Lupe is a perfect example, true hip hop. Joe Budden? Royce Da 5'9?

Joe isnt that great Royce hasnt blew me away...
i think the underground has really taken over hip hop...

paticurally white rappers have become more superior...which is ironic...

if you would have told some 15 years ago that there would be a black president and the best rapper in the world was white that would laughed at you and called you crazy
