Kidulthood / Adulthood

Postby yoshi » Nov 13th, '08, 14:29

i just finished watching Kidulthood. it was amazing, sad and depressing at the same time.. shit. does it really look like that in the UK now? -__-
btw is there any official soundtrack to the movie? i loved it. especially the song at the beginning when Katie was at home, writing that letter.

anyone seen Adulthood? guess it was released this year, imdb.com says so lol but yeah.. i just wondered.. is it as good as the Kidulthood?

I've seen them both and they were pretty good... except the english accent... :shakehead:
They talked so fast... Without subtitles it was hard or even impossible for me to understand, lol.

Altogether, it was great watch! :smoking:

Yes, that is exactly how these wannabe-gangster chavs act.

As for the film, it's well done considering. It kept my interest. I've only watched Kidulthood, because Adulthood is just milking it.

I'm quite surprised though, i didn't think it would get out of the UK.

Isn't The Streets one person? I downloaded his album awhile ago, I think, simply because of this movie. I saw the trailer or something...

Anyway, I heard good things about Kidulthood, but I've yet to actually see either though.
