Banjo Kazooie

Postby Logann » Nov 16th, '08, 17:07

Yeah.. I'm very let down. I'm finding it hard to make myself even play it. I'm trying to make myself like it because I've waited like what 7-8 years on this game? Woah.
Vehicle system is lame.

It doesn't feel like a banjo game, at all.
Repetitive challenges.

No effort to fit in cameos, so they shove them all together in that fail level that is banjo land.

Ahh.. I'm reserving final judgment on the game until I beat it.

Once I download the originals on aracde I'll prolly play them, first, though.

I dont have the new one, whats it called like nuts and bolts or something? Sucks that they screwed up the game. I have that old one for N64, the one with the evil witch. That was fun for me, and now its not good to hear the new one is bad. Ill check back when your finished the game tho :y:

Yeah

I loved the first 2 on the 64 but the vehicle idea just sounds lame. :n:

Me and my little sister played the original one every day for like 2 years on N64. It hurts to hear they fucked it up.

Once again, something today's state of gaming has fucked up.

When will people learn that some things aren't meant for big beasty metal vehicles and weapons?
Probably never, in retrospect.

Even worse, there's no Stop N Swop! :'(

You get a 0g achievment for the stop and swap crates.. that give you things like pink dice.

=|

Okay, vehicle system gets a bit more fun when you have so many options. Still not that great, though. It's still not banjo kazooie.

Text is getting really old to read. So small. This issue is said to be getting fixed, though.

Idk I'm very much awaiting to get my code to download the first two, though.

^ Oh i know about the dice, i just mean an actual, proper answer, that isn't just a big "fuck you" to the players.

If anything, encouragement is the last thing they need. They need to make as little profit as possible, to realise that true fans of the original games don't want to play this shite.

I'm not surprised though; typical that their innovation began and ended with Nintendo, and now that they're with Microsoft they just make typical "mainstream" gaming.

It's funny, if they'd made a proper sequel to Banjo Kazooie/Tooie (and by proper i mean a platformer, just like the others), it was the game i was considering buying a 360 for ever since i heard of it's creation. They fucked that up, huh?

I played the demo and I wasn't very amazed by it at all. The settings of it was Viva Piñata style which is kinda annoying to me. The driving of the vehicles though I thought was pretty fun.
