Rumors are floating around that the newly announced "Hollywoods Richest Couple" [more here] might be taking the stage to perform at the inauguration for President-elect Barack Obama in January. First reported in the UK tabloid The Sun, the rumors have been given more validity as the New York Daily News are now reporting the rumor.

Initial reports stated that British Pop singer Leona Lewis, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles were all approached for the event. Beyonce helped the rumors by telling reporters "I'm there. I can't wait," continuing, "I feel like all of us, we're ready to do whatever we have to do. Whatever they want. If they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I'm there, and I'm ready.

Will Jigga and his wife take the stage for the historic inauguration? Only time will tell.

i think they would be pretty cool if jay and beyonce were picked to play the part
