After a brief hiatus, Lil Wayne has brought his "Weezy Blog" back. In a new video [watch here], Wayne talks about his Grammy nominations saying "I'm nominated for eight Grammys and that's crazy. Do I think I'm gonna win any? No," Weezy said. "I think it's just enough to nominate me or something, they'll probably give me one next year, actually." [watch here] "Not because of politics only, because there's a lot of great people in the categories," he added. "Honestly, I don't think I could do what they do, but people say differently." [watch here]

In related news, The Empire (the DJ responsible for the 6 part 'The Drought Is Over' Lil Wayne mixtape series) recently spoke out about Weezy's public dislike for the dj and series. “I’ve never been to a Lil Wayne studio session,” Empire said. Wayne has publically said he doesn't approve of the series. “I got those records from somebody that sits right next to him on a bus…That’s co-signing him while he’s talking about me. I’m not gonna put his name out there, but it’s one of those guys. They’re sitting next to him every day” Empire says.
