What ya'll think?? singles usually come out on tuesdays, and its about a month away from the album's release. I know theres some buzz about that bumpin n grindin track thats supposedly comin out on january 1st, but i dont believe that shit at all anymore. It would be fuckin stupid for 50 to wait any longer to release a new single (sales wise)

Theres a lot more confusion as to why it would be released on a tuesday than i thought there would be. its so they can have a full week to compete w/ billboard and get plenty of play on radio so they can debut high in the charts

If he released a single next week he'd have a fresh track to keep everyone buzzing about him without time for it to get played out like Get Up did. 3-4 weeks for a single to be released and grow is probably the smartest thing he can do.

Randomly enough if you look at recent singles they have been released on Tuesday. I mean it makes sense seeing as how (I think) that's when billboard's tracking starts I think. Same reason albums usually come out on tuesdays.

Well if thats the case then maybe. But it can be next tuesday. Or the one after that, etc.

The reason it's released on Tuesday is so they can compete with the billboard, if they are released on wed then they're a day late and if they release the single on monday then they only have one day to compete. It's not mandatory that it's released on tuesdays, same with albums. Guns N Roses released on Sunday and Kanye released on Monday and Eminem released on Friday a few times I think.

i don't know i guess cause albums do? not all singles come out on tuesdays.just like not every movie will hit theaters on a friday. its just usually it does but singles don't usually come out on tuesdays just albums.
