I'm thinking about getting the guitar version only. I don't really care for the drums and all the extra shit. One of my friends has it and he says there are a lot of great songs on this one.

I like it, there are some pretty good classic songs on there. Not as good as GH3 in my opinion, but it's still enjoyable.

however rock band is wayyyy easier. If you just got the guitar version, Gh4 is defantly a better choice. but for a a music game with friends rock band 2 defantly takes it.

yeah teh guitar does suck dick, but i just use my GH2 guitars cuz my rock band one broke realll quick.... so didnt my drums =( cheap pieces of shit.
but imo i still think rb2 has a better tracklist and has more recognizable songs than gh4 does. Also the DLC is crazy, so much shit.
