Ahh fucking car help

Ahh my family is no help. So I had to get my first car on my own completely. Saved up money. Worked two jobs over the summer even. Anyway then I had enough money for a car, and some spare. So that was cool. 91 cougar. seemed nice at the time..

Months later I'm really hating this car. My dad has no idea what to do about it even though he's tried fixing it.

1) the door is suddenly too low. :S It hardly closes. I don't know why. I have to slam it to make it register as shut, and even sometimes it wont so I have to deal with a constant DING as I drive. ahh.. - -

2) Windows are fucked. Prolly need to take the door apart and get them back on the track, or something. It's winter so this is no big deal right now.

3) This is probably the worse since it makes the car pretty un-drivable. The turn signals stopped working. Then they work. Then they stop. My turn signals will stop working then start working out of no where. I'm pretty sure they are not going to start working again now, though.

Got a new stick for them or whatever on the driving wheel. No success, still doesn't work. New fuse. I'm not sure what to do to make them work. And this is even worse since I can't even look lame and use hand signals since my windows are broke!

About how much is this going to cost to get repaired by a shop, if they can? Or is there something else we should try doing.

first off you should return it back and get your money because that car will NOT pass inspection. I know people in NJ who would fix it for cheap under the table. where do you live?

with diagnostics alone is like 100 to 150 and then theres labor 40 bucks an hour estimate and then you have to consider the parts needed. if you have another 1000 bucks to spend go for it

i think ur state is one of the only ones that does those random inspections, so he doesn't need to worry about that i dont think

the light problem could be a short in the wires to the lights, so u might have to replace those altogether. and the door, be a man and slam it as hard as u can. and puttin the windows back on track isn't too hard. at least do the driver side, fuck the passenger. if they dont like it, then they can drive themselves. imo i'd just save up for a new car altogether. once this shit starts, it doesn't stop. next u'll need a new radiator or smth stupid. get the trade in value, and say fuck it

Ahhh shit theres no way I'm paying upwards of 1000 to fix this fuckin car..

I posted this somewhere else too, and that's the general reply I'm getting to just take the trade in value and say fuck it. That's a pretty big loss though I'm sure. It can't be worth more than 500 trade in if that?. (N)
