Your All Time Scariest Horror Movie...?

Surprised nobody's mentioned this yet.

The original Saw. Before it became an over-the-top gore fest, it had a realism and accessability that made it just more creepy. There were no big vats of pig guts that nobody was going to actually experience. It was a case of kidnap. You go to sleep, and you wake up in a different place, chained up. Now that's horror, and it's something that is in the realms of plausibility. The entire film plays by plausibility. All the traps, while still gruesome as fuck, are perfectly possible. It is possible for somebody to do it to you, is what i'm getting at, as opposed to the recent installments where it's just fucking impossible.

But yeah. Original Saw for me, scared the fuck out of me.

well actually it was more of a suspence to me..instead of a horror movie

but cmon you got into the story...not the gore...in most horror movies..you get into the kills and shit...saw had an interesting story atleast

Cannibal Holocaust is definitely the one. But that's banned in most countries, so it's pretty hard to get

Other then that i'd say 'The Descent', was the only one i DIDN'T like, not the one that necessarily scared me. but yeah, i'd recommend it anyway

i loved it, mostly because the amount of blood and guts flying around was higher than i expected. but yes, i was scared shitless rofl

You won't find Cannibal Holocaust in your local video store lol. Like I said, it's still banned in most countries, not sure about yours, but i'm guessing so. If it's not, you'd most probably have to buy it from somewhere. It definitely wouldn't be available in the video store, most likely anyway.

You know, they actually did a count on the whole crew working on the film to see if everyone were still alive.
When they do that, you know the movie's fucked up!
