Is it fair & correct to call...

Em's "Encore" album, a bad or not a good album? I always hear people talking about hoping Em's work is better then Encore, to set the bar higher on a musical level and to go back to his MMLP, TES days, or even back to his first couple of years with Dre. Anyways, The Eminem Show is my favorite, followed by MMLP & SSLP, but I think It's UNFAIR to assess Encore as a bad album. I agree with everybody that says it's a disappointment of an album & not as good at all as the other 3, especially the previous 2, but overall for rap and music wise and compared to other albums by other artists, it's a nice masterpiece and Em put it together well. I think Em was lazy on the album. Instead of making the whole album great and a classic, he fell into the pits of doing "Ass Like That," "Big Weenie" & "Just Lose It and etc." type tracks. Before, he would only have one pop rap single or catchy single on his previous albums, to get people to buy his albums, promote them & to lure more fans in, with The Real Slim Shady, Without Me & My Name Is. So I can understand why Just Lose It was made, but the other dismal tracks on the album are no excuse. Anyways, my point is, it's a good album not great, or not as good as his other 3 up to it, but if compared to any other album (rap albums of the year, or even pop & rock albums), is a good LP. I know it was a disappointment, but if you just blank out the rest and look at tracks like "Like Toy Soldiers, "Mosh", "Yellow Brick Road" & even "Mockingbird", the lyrics & real tracks are their. Even the 3 bonus tracks are all excellent and should of been replaced to being on the actual album, with the tracks nobody really likes. I still love the album and listen to it. I know this is long, but what does everybody else think?

1)this is amazing compared to anything else thats out today
2)if the 3 bonus track replaced the 3 horrible track then the album would be great We all know this by now

we all know and disussed many times before this that it is by far not em's best work and it was a disappointment considering his previous 3 albums were just classics

i left out just lose it but this was for a classic album, not pop charts and sales

in general it wasnt em's fault, because the songs leaked early he was in a rush to sort it. and i agree if the tracklist was different with the leaked songs on, it would be on par with his other classic LP's.
