Summary: The film revolves around an assassination plot on President of the United States Henry Ashton (William Hurt), who is participating at an anti-terrorism summit in Salamanca, Spain. The entire movie is based on a single, short period of time, which is retold six times, each time from the viewpoint of different characters (Rex Brooks, who directs various "GNN" cameramen and news anchors as the President arrives. U.S. Secret Service agents Thomas Barnes and Kent Taylor are the protective detail to the President, and right before he's shot, Barne's notices a window fluttering, and upon the assassination, Taylor takes off in pursuit of the suspect. Enrique is a Spanish police officer assigned to protect the mayor of Salamanca and is he the one being decieved or the one causing the decption? Lewis an American tourist who thinks he’s captured the shooter on his video camera while recording the event for his family back home. However, he also caught sight of a women throwing a bomb underneath the President's podium Unknown to the public and GNN, it is a body double of Ashton that has been shot. Having been informed of a credible assassination threat, the President has returned to his hotel and is waiting for his double to give his speech and after witnessing the double get shot, he is forced into a corner. He can't sign or give verbal communication to return the hostile environment to normal by US Military, he's supposed to be dead remember? But that could be arranged because seconds after hearing the explosion, there's another small one and a Masked Gunman breaks into the President's room and takes him hostage. The Final viewpoint is that of the Terrorists, who've created this flawless plan to kidnapp the President and earn millions, and it's all in a days work, especially with the use of blackmail and bribery to get those on their side.) By the end of the film, each character's story comes together to tell the true story of what really occurred.

Review: If you're a person who doesn't like to see the same thing happening over and over again, don't waste your breathe on this movie. However, if you love a face-paced action-packed-thriller that won't stop your mind from racing because of all the possibilites, and you wondering what's gonna happen next? Then you've got a classic infront of you that has a wonderful thought out plot and the actors fit into their characters mindsets perfectly. You'll be guessing at the very end wondering whos' side is this person on, and what more damage could actually be done???
