I love the new Critics Section

I absolutely love movies, so seeing a critics section is awesome . I do have a few suggestions though. I know it's difficult because everyone has their own opinions, but it would be cool to have sort of rating system, so people can compare how one movie is compared to another one. I don't know how you guys are setting the section up, but if it's only a group of people posting, you guys can all agree on a rating. If not maybe set up a poll for each movie with options 1-10 and users can vote on the rating?

Also, eventually are we able to discuss the movies being critiqued or is it going to be closed off forever?

Anyways, good job once again guys(McMaybe, Ivy, Chet Starr?) for expanding this section .

Maybe is working on a bunch of scripts to try and work out the kinks. We're doing our best to get this rolling, but right now, the way the boards set up, only those with "higher" access can post, hence, a kink... We'll get it fixed, it just takes time and knowing math, which is where Maybe comes in...

BTW: Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to figure out how to set up a rating system...You gotta be creative you know, put some thought into it...don't want something simplistic...this is TR for crying out loud

Same here because I'm a huge movies guy . You guys can't let an ol' timer like me in ? Guess I have to work my way to vet now.

We're trying to get all the codes for the sub-forum set up and get everything situated before the whole board has access...Maybe's been working around the clock trying to get everything 'Perfect', and I've been creating topics as fast as I can, just so when the forum does become open to everybody, there's a wide variety of discussions that can go underway...
