EDIT AGAIN SINCE NOBODY SEEMS TO SEE THE STORY IN MY SONG-i came up with this concept that i was an outlaw with a price on my head, but i didnt want to be an outlaw anymore. i was getting older and just wanted a simple life, then a man comes and tries to kill me to collect the bounty, but i can see he's nervous and won't be able to shoot me, so i shoot at him, missing on purpose so i dont kill him.

then, i leave. going back to see my mother but i die before i ever get the chance to see her. the end.
-end of edit-

i like the way you have the voting set up, good idea.

good luck steve, just heard your track. it's good.

EDIT-i think it's awesome how we both did the beat so differently, you spoke about yourself.
i wrote the song as myself as well, but as if i was a cowoby with a bounty on my head. just figured i'd mention that.

Yeah, the voting sounds good to me. Hopefully people leave some detailed feed then, haha. Glad you liked my track DQ, and I liked yours aswell; i thought it was pretty different, but I was dissappointed that you didn't do a 3rd verse.

Steve Spag - Great 3 verses that are very lyrical, strong, enjoyable, a good use of energy & momentum

DelinQuent - good lyrics, nice message, understandable

overall i like Steve's song more because i like how well the verses are written and it's a complete song

DelinQuent was close but didn't have a 3rd verse & the lyrics weren't as fluid as Steve's, still a good message tho

good job both of you! :y: :y:

my vote goes to Steve
oh yeah... and thanks for nothing too

Steve Spag:
Great delivery mixed with dope lyrics.
You flow really well on the beat (which is awesome by the way).
I have no problem at hearing what you're rapping, so that's a plus.
You're voice is enjoyable and fits this kind of track perfectly.
Good message in the song.
:y:

DelinQuent:
Love the little intro.
I'm positive surprised by this, I think this is the best track you've done from the tracks I've heard by you.
You really stepped your game up with this man, good job!
Though it seems like you slur on some words which makes i hard to hear what you're saying.
This style suits you better than those smooth tracks you've put out before.
Really good job man!

Voting is really hard on this one.
Steve Spag always brings fire on his tracks, and almost always have dope lyrics (few exceptions).
DQ, well, he improved like a motherfucker with this track.
His flow was better, his delivery was way better, his voice was better. I almost forgot how he sounded because of all those tracks with auto-tune.

But... My vote goes to Steve Spag.
Believe me, I listened to both tracks at least 3 times each before I decided.
Just because of the little slurs from DQ, I had to go with Steve.
But for real DQ, you're track was awesome too, you should really stick to these kind of tracks!

My vote to Steve.

Both were good. Steve's was a little more fluid and flowed beautifully. I like it more.

Steve Spag :

It's a real nice track. Lyrics and flow were solid. And the sample was well used.
And i didn't notice this before, but it sounds like you might be from England or somewhere around there. Well your accent isn't that bad, but i think if you'd need to work on something, it would just be on making words flow from one to another easier. That's all. :y:

Delinquant's was good, but i didn't feel it like i did Steve's.

:'( lol

but hey, you guys decide, i can't be mad at steve for making a good track. i do appreciate everyone's honesty.

and about doing more tracks like this, i won't be. butttttttttttt i can nearly guarantee you guys will love the new stuff i have. be on the look out for "Progression" which will be my first actual album, it will have only 10 songs on it, but not 10 repeats like "Sincerely Yours" was. Different concepts and different sounds. Thus far i have 5 tracks done, and i've honestly surprised myself with a few.

chet lmfao. for the most part i'm completely back on the rap shit.

again, good luck to steve should he win.

Steve- sick lyrics, i took your concept as why your wanted dead or alive cause your sick on the mic or whatever, thats what i took from it, and lyrically you were on point throughout, rhymes were there and the flow on this was nice. The only negative which took a lot away from this was your emotion, you didn't sound like you meant what you were saying, i expected a lot of power and shit, like yeah i am this good, but i didnt hear that in your voice, so i mean i think that took a lot away from what you were saying.

DQ- cocnept was there, you really made it clear and went with the hook that you were wanted and you ended the song well, i think you shoulda put three verses on it but it is what it is. Your flow and rhymes were there, your voice was on point, and i felt like you meant what you said.

With all that said, I give my vote to Steve Spag, but this was honestly like a 55% to 45% win. If DQ came with another verse I think he mighta had it, but both songs were very well done, good job to you both.

Im definitely gunna vote on this. Im bumping Steves atm, fucking sick. When I stop being lazy I'll listen to DQ's and give detailed feedback.

edit:

DelinQuent - The intro (your like "uhhh..." or something) sort of disturbed me lol. Your delivery was fine but I didn't really like it. Flow was on spot, and I liked the lyrics. I lol'd at the chorus "Yee-how..." haha. I felt like it should have been a bit longer, i was surprised when it finished. Overall it was a good track. :y:

Steve Spag - Loving the intro man. Thought it was a nice touch. I liked the delivery too man, and your flow was good. I was liking the lyrics more than DQ's, I felt the subject matter was better. Voice was clear, and it was a dope track. Liked it a lot.

Both tracks were good but I liked Steve Spags better. :y:

Steve you've been dropping really good tracks lately, good improvement too :y:

Steve Spag wins this very easily...

Steve...Your flow was fuckin ice cold...your voice bores the shit out of me but since you dubbed it ...it makes it alot better...I really like how you write your lyrics with simple rhymes but you rhyme the shit out of em which brings out your orginal style which i think could get you some where..really liked this song ...

DQ...Topic was fuckin gay as fuck and you were biting it from that dre and em song...your flow wasn't that smooth...your lyrics werent that impressive...and the moaning in the beginning made me wanna turn it off...your voice makes me fall asleep...only thing that brought out this song was the fact that you made it in your own way and you made it a DQ track and not that white kid who uses autotune all the fucking time track...but overall it was ok,...ive heard better

Steve wins :flower:

Steve Spags was nice it flowed well and you kind of gotta sense you were riding with him to go round up some grub :y:

DQ's flowed pretty similar but for some reason it was just hard to get into

yes sticcy, i completely agree. i fucking HATE my own song. i'm not a cowboy, i dont ride on a steel horse lmfao

i didnt bite any concept from eminem or dre and i honestly have no idea what song you'd be speaking of.

i came up with this concept that i was an outlaw with a price on my head, but i didnt want to be an outlaw anymore. i was getting older and just wanted a simple life, then a man comes and tries to kill me to collect the bounty, but i can see he's nervous and won't be able to shoot me, so i shoot at him, missing on purpose so i dont kill him.
