Overview:
More rain spilled down the elf's neck, and began trickling down his back under his jacket to his trousers. All his clothes were yellow, rough, soaking, dirty, and worn.
One day, he would have clothes soft as sparrows' wings and warm as duck down, the color of dawn, the color of the sea. One day, he would have dry feet. One day, the shadows would lift, the frost would retreat. The sun would come back. The stars would shine again. One day.
My Review: 4 Stars, Somewhat Boring, but Powerful Ending
The story is about an elf named Yorsh. His world has been lashed by rain for years, and when his village gets destroyed, he finds himself as an orphan, the earth's last elf. But a prophecy states that when the last elf and the last dragon break the circle, the past and present will meet, and the sun of a new summer will shine in the sky
He begins to search for the last dragon, in hopes of deciphering the code.
It's a pretty interesting book, but the story tends to drag along, and almost tries to hard to present charm. the moments where Yorsh the elf shows his strange powers, it seems awkward, and there are other moments that feel rather childish. But if you take the time to read to the end, a very powerful ending will leave a lasting effect on you.
