Tonight Lil Wayne will be featured on Katie Couric's pre-Grammy Awards special tonight. In the interview, Weezy talks about his feelings on his real father, his music and what it really means to be a "gangster." . Wayne talks about why he dropped the "D" in his name saying "I dropped the 'D' 'cause I'm a junior," weezy says. "He's not in my life, and he's never been in my life, so I don't want to be Dwayne."

In the interview, Wayne talks about music saying "I believe that music is another form of news. Music is another form of journalism to me. So I have to cover all the areas. You get Lil Wayne's take on the new president, money, the economy, women, whatever." . Katie Couric even asks Wayne about his tattoos saying "Can you take me on a little journey through your face?" Weezy says "Okay. I have 'misunderstood' on my face, because I do feel that a lot of times, I am very misunderstood."

cuz maybe they feel like , when they change their names , people will forget that wayne sucks,, or something , and by putting a new name ,, he think people will still think he is sick or dope or whatever,, changing name show weakness ,,
