Fat Joe isn't racist, and when starting a topic of this nature please be a bit more sensitive, I've changed the topic title for you.

The fact is, the word itself isn't racist but it's how it's used. Fat Joe was raised in harlem as far as I know, and it's a term used often in the area by everyone whos part of the hip hop culture. Much lke Immortal Technique who is white and uses the word, and necro for that matter, but they have explained themselves, I'll try and find the interview for you.

Have to second Trshady there, plain rediculous callin Fat Joe racist. In the mouth of the wrong person n***a surely is a racist term. But in the modern day hood it`s a term of endearment. Like callin someone ur brother. Lot o people used to spaculate about Ice-t`s skin color also and i think he explained it perfectly in "Straight up N***a". Track it down if u can, great track from a very underappreciated artist in my opinion. O.g Original Gangster is a genius of an album, one of my faves.

yeee, in my countri n**** (like y'all say) is ofensive when some1 sai it with the intention of ofense that "Black Person", but you can sai it with good intention, like friends. if i say n**** to a friend of mi he will take it normal.
