I voted for When I'm Gone just because it's newer and I'm not as tired of listening to it. I loved the song Mockingbird though and I don't think I can actually decide which is better. However, I think Hallie's Song is the most touching song for his daughter and would probably be better than these two.

I voted when Im gone cuz lyrically it's better...in terms of flows, rhymes, & overall. Plus, the concept of the song Mockingbird is outdated, he already made a similar song, "Hailie's song"...
so i think that when I'm gone is better.

That's just a tough poll to make because both songs are emotionally powerful and I like them both as much. They both made me shed a tear when I first listened to them and when I saw the videos . But I chose When I'm Gone because it is newer.
