I've been in Berlin. It was cool, but something happened that made me scared at that moment, but now I laugh about it lol..

It was a classtrip to Poland and Germany.
We had our own bus and it was parked in Berlin, while we were at Hard Rock cafe nearby. We were told to get back to the bus within the time. On the way back me and my friend really had to go to the bathroom so we got in to a mall and pissed
Then we had very little time so we had to run, but to not make is seems suspicious we didn't run inside the mall. Just right before we got out of the mall, the door alarm went off because of a balloon that a little girl carried popped when she was going through the alarm. Me and my friend didn't care cuz we were in a hurry, and then we started to run to get the bus. Suddenly while we were running someone grabbed my shoulders, and I got this heart jump lol. It was a security gueard, first I was confused but then the memory with the alarm came into my mind. I tried to told him that we was trying to catch a bus, that we were here with a class from Norway. BUT he didn't understand english And kept saying something in german. I got frustrated, and he pulled us back to the mall, while me and my friend was arguing. He made us go trough the alarm system, and it didn't beep. So he said sorry, and then we had to run again...
I got pretty mad at him, but later I understood that he was just doing his job, so it's ok

but it is really embarassing how few germans can speak english. and the few that "can" better shut up since it sounds really damn bad
Funny thing is that I had a similar incident when I was on a class trip to NYC in 2004. But we got into trouble because we denied to buy a tape from some guys that called himself rappers

Another thing that happened is when me and my friend were arguing in english with that guard after he caught us, lotta people around us started to look, and some old ladies started to say something in german and gave us some bad looks ... I got pretty mad at them smh

You're right man, here in Finland in this town/city where im living, I think every old people looks teenagers/younger people like there's something wrong with them, haha. And im getting really sick of it, and cause over 60% in this city can only speak swedish and can't even speak finnish good so that really sucks, especially those older people, really few of them can speak finnish even though its our main languange. Oh my god, sweden is taking over our city!
