Half the songs on there will be on Restormation, just polished up and mastered with other songs from standard hip hop to electro/grime but netherless enjoy it and beware....Storm Is Back

Before The Restormation EP (2009) From My Myspace blog
Raw Rap Is Back.

For a Year, Tornado has been taking his time from The Storm LP, learning the trade of good music and putting his own unique style on it. This is in the form of "The Restormation" a mixtape which is dropping on the 27th April. In anticipation for this, a Demo EP of 7 tracks of some Previews of Songs and songs that didn't make the final cut have been put together as "Before The Restormation EP" but before you scoff and think it's just scraps, Tornado is wanting people to hear his talent and to prove himself again with his Raw lyrical, Undergroud, Dark Style of Rap with a UK flavour on it. If you like it, this is just a taster of things to come, If you don't either you don't like rap period or you ain't heard the good stuff yet.

They'll be morecoming soon, including singles, new myspace layout wit pictures layout, remixes and of course, the mixtape itself.

Do or Die-damn this beat..love this guitar in the back...your flow was fire...altho i have to admit i didnt understand everything :zipped: ...hook is catchy and stucked it my mind...i like it...2nd verse is better pronouncation wise...maybe cuz you slow down your flow hehe...

Offend U-your flow is shaky in here....pronouncation aint the best aswell...overlays are weird somtimes....the singin is kinda okay...altho i would listen to it more than 5times...

Y'all Been Warned- Method Man :worship: haha ...you actually did pretty good...quality didnt have such a diffrence...your pronouncation was better on 1st..2nd verse lacked in pronouncation IMO...altho i understood MethodMan better overall.....flow is cold :y: which means good...

Around Da World-yeah yeah we travelling around da world :shifty:

Disillusioned- my fav track...your flow is smooth and stable...your delievery is calm too....matches the track...yeah....pronouncation aint up to par again..from wut i can hear lyrics are very nice
but other than that..sick track

Reminisce-hook flows well...verse is nice again...no real flaw...one time you slipped flow wise but its kool wit me...good track

OVERALL: your lisping is a lil problem..not hating on you or somthin...it just makes the lyrics hard to understand at least for me....flows are nice..you play well with beats...so i got no worries lol.. :)

First off your one underrated rapper, aight time to review. :smoking:

Intro: It was good but it didn't deserve its own track, should have been the intro for "Do Or Die" because its way too short.

Do Or Die: I love this beat, the piano hits me hard, love it man. The chorus was the craziest chorus I've heard on this forum, catchy as fuck man, I just LOVE IT. The way you say "wanna try (whatever)" fast and than slow it down when you say "it's do or die" or "it's suicide" was just relaxation/enjoyment. Crazy job here, this chorus COULD NOT be any better, its impossible. Verses came in hard "Gotta keep breathing, incase someone hit me, bluds out to get me, it doesn't affect me" love the way you started it. The flow was dope, it wasn't consistent as in you kept switching and made it dope. And in each verse you ended them nicely to. Only issue I seen was the timing of the overlays (dubs) in some areas, which weren't to much of a problem but it does make it harder to understand the lyrics. Best song on the EP. You did a marvelous job, great way to open up an EP. 10/10 for sure man.

Offend U: Beat wasn't perfect, but I still felt it. Melody was gritty, drums were very weak imo, and they were to wet sounding aswell. Bass line was nice, undergroundish which I love. Your dubs are poorly timed/mixed, it made it nearly impossible to understand the lyrics wherever there were dubs. And I'm blaming the dubs because I can understand you when there's no dubs, but wherever there is, its hard to judge what your saying. If I was the mixer of this song, I would of placed those dubs 100% accurately, mixer should of cut and chop, do whatever it took to make them accurate. Flow was hard, fast and accurate, delivery was laid back as fuck. Chorus haha was good, "Yeah I can't sing so what? you get the fucking message though" word. I Like the idea of you speaking in the background to, it wasn't a DOPE chorus but it was good. Not your best song so I'ma go with 7/10.

Ya'll Been Warned ft. Method Man: O_O sounded like you recorded same exact place as Meth, JMP mixed this nicely, dudes a genius. Good street lyrics, your verses came in hard, and I felt the flow, delivery could have been more stronger on this type of song, but it was still cool. Meths hook didn't blend in smoothly, sounded like a cut and paste job, but that's only from the start of the chorus, rest was smooth. Should have faded the beginning a lil bit to prevent the pop up. It was a good song better than your Offend U, but not Do or Die, nothing can fuck with that one. Beat was a good one btw, your pronunciation on this track was very poor man, hardly understood shit, specially verse 3, I'll give this a 7.5/10.

Around The World: Beat sounded like something from a freaky cartoon show. Melody/Bass was nice, drums were weak as fuck, I hate those drums, they have no power at all. Overlays AGAIN were out of place, making it frustrating to understand. You started off clear, but in the middle you went gibberish. Flow seemed on point, delivery was OK, but the main problem with this song is the beat, its just too boring. Weakest song on the EP, it was very boring like I said, didn't like it at all. 5/10.

Disillusioned: Beat was touchy, I loved it. This dude BankZ is fucking sick man, is he a local producer or something? never heard of him before. You came in extremely bored, on the verses, didn't like the lack of energy on this one. Needed slightly more energy added to your performance. Lyrics were deep "my 8mile" I liked that reference, and I felt what you were saying about your family not supporting you and shit, hate that fucking situation. Chorus was dope though, I felt the emotion you put in it. Cool song man, wasn't your best but it was better than the previous 3. And word to the part where you were talking about college, that shit made me go insane to. "I scream screw the system cause the system screwed me" WORD UP. I'll give this track 8/10 cause a lot of shit I can relate to.

Reminisce: Beat was alright, I didn't like it much mostly cause of the drums, but the melody/sample was good. Hook reminded me of a Mobb Deep song where Big Twinz featured and said "I don't like to reminisce about the past" track was called Thug Muzik, not saying you jacked it from there, hell no, cause that line comes to mind a lot of times. I felt you were slightly more aggressive on this one, because your a very laid back rapper its hard to tell but I felt it. It was a good song man, verses came in alright, flow was good, delivery was good to, it was a good one. Giving this 8/10, cause it could have been better.

Overall: it was a good introduction EP, cause I haven't heard much of you so it was good to know hows your style and what type of music you make. You came in extremely hard with Do Or Die, that shit was/is a TR classic, I'll be bumping that song a shit load of times from this day forward. I took around 2 hours listening to this EP, reviewing, thinking about it. After Do Or Die, your beat choice got sloppy, and so it affected the overcome enjoyment of the EP as a whole. JMP mixed this EP good, but each song was mixed exactly the same, which made it boring. He should have worked on timing your overlays correctly, cause it ruined a shit load part of the songs, so you should tell him to work on that in the future, or either you make more of an effort timing it correctly. You need to work on your pronunciation if you want an world audience, because I tried extremely hard to understand the lyrics, and I'm not sure about how UK people can hear/judge/understand the lyrics, but I think if your going to post tracks on TR you should work on your pronunciation because not everyone is from the UK. I understand your being yourself, and everything but I'm just saying to slightly pronounce words better. Cause sometimes you say "hey" instead of "hate" or "play" instead of "plane" and it makes it awkward for us to get what your saying. You have a very London/Underground rap style, and I can hear the Method Man influence in your delivery. It wasn't a great EP but it was good, like I said Do Or Die is a fucking classic, and I would LOVE to make a part II if your up for it man. Its hard giving an entire EP out of 10 but I'ma go with 8/10. Which is pretty good for an introduction man. Looking forward to more bro.

Here's my feed (a little short, but I'm tired) :smoking:

Do Or Die
Beat is really nice. Love the guitar in it and the piano fits it like a glove!
Flow is solid, could be a lot better though. But yeah, still solid.
Delivery is so-so, it's like the flow, could be better.
Lyrics are really good. And I actually like the hook you got going on this.
Overall, decent track.
6/10

Offend U
Intro to this is cool man, really like it.
Flow is not so good on this man, you're too fast on a lot of parts.
Beat is boring as hell in my opinion.
But lyrics are pretty cool.
5/10

Ya'll Been Warned
Not gonna mention Meth, because he's an awesome rapper no matter what track he's on.
You did really good on this I think! Great flow and dope lyrics.
Delivery is cool!
Beat is something I like to bump to. :y:
Really good track!
8/10

Around The World
I love the beat.
Your flow is good on this man! But you're lacking delivery I think.
And the ad-libs is a little too loud for my taste, but hey, fuck that!
Good track!
7/10

Disillusioned

Didn't like this at all man, I don't know why though really.
Maybe because you're so damn slow on it... don't know.
3/10

Reminisce

Beat is cool! Really really like it!
Lyrics are fine, flow is really good.
And you stepped up tour delivery on this one I think.
Good track!
6/10
