I know man..I used to always want one.
I finally bought one in 2005 and got it taken away in the hurricane. It was pretty upsetting.
It was ahead of its time.

to this day i still think the dreamcast had the best controller ever. it was so comfy to hold.

and then the memory cards called VMU's with the little screen, shit was genius.

Yes!!!!!!Finally someone mentions the Dreamcast! I thought I was the only loser to have had one in here cause no one seemed to ever mention it. It was actually my first console and I thought it was great but It' s a shame it never got the success it should of got. I loved it and not so long ago I installed it back with my Xbox 360 and play it sometimes thought it crashes quite a few times now.

I have the games:

Hydro Thunder (fucking awesome)
Sonic Adventures (incredibly fun)
Sonic Adventures 2 (not so good)
Crazy Taxi (crazily fun)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (awesome)
Penpen (pathetically entertaining)
Virtua Tennis (some good stuff)

I almost got the dreamcast at launch, being a sega fan, but after the money wasted on the sega saturn ( i never played it,kept my megadrive plugged in ), I just had to go with sony, and it was the right choice, ps2 shits all over the dreamcast when it came to game variety; although I did get one cheap when they were clearing out dreamcast stock, I got me one $99 new from k mart, with crazy taxi, resident evil code veronica, Sonic adventures ,Shenmue & Ecco the dolphin each game only $9,new, amazing games

I should hit up ebay to find more games to play. Virtua Fighter 3?

Dreamcast's pwnage is second ONLY to the PS2 before it had any competition. Its graphics were so ahead of its time. The controller was perfected. Every game's gameplay was fucking sick. And Fantasy Star had the console online gameplay on fucking lock. This system is in my hall of fame for sure. God I wish Sega was still making systems.

And the thread is about Dreamcast being bad ass, not N64 or Golden Eye, or your opinion regarding either of those... So sure it was a great system no doubt, but it's not relevant to this thread.

Not really. I know I'm better than a few, but most of the people on here I'm pretty cool with. You're just talking about irrelevant shit. And still are.
