Well i guess i overreacted, went kinda emo, but i just have such high expectations of him, and i wanted his first single no matter what kind of song, silly or not, to make you hooked on it and listen to it whole day but i just cant listen to this more than 4-5 times

Oh and btw, he makes fun of britney in this song aswell i think, Britney has a song Amy or something, and she bakes a pie or w.e and he also said rehab never looked so good, he might have been refering to her bold headed ass going to rehab

I like the song, but I'm sure this wasnt Em's favorite song on album. This being the first single is probably because of Interscope. The serious stuff comes next, but while we wait, I do like the song. His rhymes and flow are on point. Kinda sounds like the old Slim Shady with the voice, but he throws that stupiud accent on it. Its just more of an up-beat song. If he was to use some of the same lyrics and spit angry like MMLP, all of a sudden it would be like the old days. I hope we see some anger on the next single.

But the thing about We Made You is that the chorus is not sang by Em and if you look at every other hit he made the chorus was always what people remembered, those 1 or 2 lines. Like My name is, I'm slim shady, Lose Yourself in the music, Just lose it ah ah ah ah!!! But in this song you can't get the same enjoyment out of the chorus.

Sac actually makes a good point there. I heard the song with the video rather than the leak which probably helped. The chorus, we're used to Em doing them, impact wasn't as big when I first heard this as his other lead singles. Grown on me a LOT now though. I think the flow is great, the multis, and probably his best video (of that kind at least) The voice I don't mind really, I mean it's only these type of songs he's gonna do it on. And as people have said, change is inevitable.

Was Real Slim Shady hardcore genius? No. It was jokey, light, comedy rap, just different era and more simplistic. But was MMLP hardcore genius? FUCK YEAH. Kill You, Who Knew, Kim, The Way I Am, nothing else on the album sounds like it.

He does the goof singles to get the initial interest and then double the impact for the powerhouse 2nd. It's not rocket science.

Also he said to Royce that he's got some of the best material he's ever recorded right now. And Royce recently said he thinks Em's album will change the rap game.

Royce always stays true to hip-hop and even though he's Em's close friend, I can't imagine him making that strong a statement if it was just more Encore type stuff. I can feel something special coming on. He seems focused as fuck. His goofy single is nothing to go by.

I have to agree about this Royce insurance. If they are so confident, there must be some real shit coming.

But still i hope it's serious and we don't convince ourselves too much. There were so much expectations with Encore that got burned that i'm still careful. Let's cross our fingers.

well i posted in this before, I KNOW I did, but apparently the general error screwed me. Ok so I heard it on the way to work and I was in a SHIT mood cuz I was so fucking tired so there was 0 dick riding on this one lol.

The beat was painfully average. I mean if that's what we have to look forward to on the album I won't be disappointed, but I won't be blown away with anything. Kinda like Encore. I'd give it a 7/10

The song itself was ok lyrically. It was a complete joke song and it actually made me laugh quite a few times. The Kim Kardashian part was hilarious to me. The rhyming was far above anything he's done in forever and a day, so that was cool. I'd give the lyrics and rhyming overall 8/10 nothing spectacular but they were enjoyable.

The delivery fucking sucked. There's no other way to put it. I was hoping against hope I guess that the I'm Having a Relapse tidbit wasn't any indication of how he was going to sound, but here we are. Had he just spit it like he did in Crack a Bottle it would have been UNCONSTITUTIONALLY better. This on top of the fucking fart noise that literally almost ruined the song for me gave the delivery a 4/10.

I just don't understand what made Em record it like this and do a fart sound. I mean when Em asked Dre "Hey was that cool? Did you like it?" what the fuck happened that made Dre go "HELL YEAH!!!" that's fucking bullshit.

Anyways the saving grace of this song was the humor of the content. I actually really enjoyed the song in that sense. I was in a shit ass mood and it made me laugh quite a few times. So compared to My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, and Without Me which were all 10's imo, and Just Lose It being like a 6.5 or 7 I'd give the overall track a 7.5 or an 8. That's COMPLETELY liable to change because I've only heard the song once so all of these rating aren't as clear as they probably should be, but yeah. Better than most of the shit on the radio considering Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy run that shit these days, but not even a shadow of Eminem's prime music.

Hated it with a passion at first. Threw a fucking tantrum in my room. I actually woke up at 6 AM to see this video on AM MTV. Than it spun in rotation for the three hours, had to air atleast 7 times. It kinda grew on me, I must admit. I actually like this song now. The hook is catchy and his rhyme scheme is dope as fuck. What is bad about the track is that retarded accent, and it didn't appeal to me as much as his other "pop culture" singles. The video is pretty funny though. I love the Bret Michaels and Sarah Palin parts.

While am I a bit disapointed, I'm just glad to see Em again.
