Death Is Certain by Royce Da 5'9"
That CD is just unblieveable. His rhymes, his flows, his topics and concepts, his delievery; everything about that CD was dope in my opinion.

Agree with Spag... Death is Certain is definitely top 5... that album is unbelievable!!!

Blueprint is my fav Jay-Z album... Reasonable Doubt is a close 2nd though...

The Eminem Show is probably my favorite album of all time though... Classic.

The Roots 'Game Theory' is also a classic... all of their albums are fucking genius.

Nas - Illmatic

Thats a MUST own for any hip hop head, every single song on the album is dope as fuck. It's really hard 2 say whats the best hip hop album, because theres so many in consideration, you can't really name one. That is my favorite, tho

maybe Stillmatic. i like it way more than Illmatic :sweating: or some Kweli shit.

no idea, but it's idiotic to choose one album only. :n:

All around solid album, he mixed being serious with clever humor, solid flow and delivery on everything, good concepts, a great album from beginning to end.

This album had the best d12 song of all his albums, the best first single, and one of the greatest songs of all-time imo with sing for the moment.

The Eminem Show
Death is Certain

Tha Carter III
...jk

But, I'd agree with TES or Death is Certain

Illmatic is lyrically dope, but the problem is after a while all the songs sound like the same thing, the flow is the similar and the songs kind of blend. With the exception of like Life's a Bitch there's no solid choruses or good melodies. Well, The World Is Yours has one too. I definitely respect Nas and it's a great album, but it's just not something I can listen to over and over again. (Though NY State of Mind is so fucking dope)
How ironic is it that I'm riding around listening to Nickelback? (I'm back!) - Royce
