Well i personally see selling only 100k units as a flop and in my opinion both of these albums will flop
and i know were in a recession right now and albums are not selling so well... but still a flop

Overall i could care less who sells more IMO they are both wack, I would have to say Ross's music is better
than Asher's though

All this talk of Ross vs Roth sales showdown on par with Kanye and 50 is fun and all, but it apparently isn't grounded in reality. Word on the curb is Universal fucked up and only shipped around 100K of Asleep in Bread Aisle despite the incredible press presence. Meanwhile, Ross' Deeper Than Rap has well over a half million copies in the few retail stores that do exist. So barring an iTunes sales miracle, it's doubtful Ricky won't have another #1 album on the shelf.

That's really not true though. I mean look at people like Eminem, Jay-Z, The Game (the documentary Game), 50 even. I mean yeah some of them spew a fair amount of bs just cuz it sounds good, but when it comes to their lives they didn't lie about who they were. Jay-Z actually was a drug dealer and was worth nearly a million. Eminem really was a bullied kid that turned to rapping, shit relationships, and drugs. 50 was another drug dealer who got shot. Game was another drug dealer, who was admittedly relatively small time, that got shot.

Yeah there's a lot of people out there who lie about shit, but you don't come across someone who completely creates their life like Ross did. That's why don't respect him.
