C'mon now, it's not a classic Not even near...


But it's a damn great song. The silence of the lambs reference. And it wouldn't have the same feel if he didn't have the "accent." Fuck, I'ma go out on a limb and say I actually want the "accent" on 3 AM. It wouldn't sound as eerie and Em wouldn't sound as manic. The entire song was just executed so well. All of the elements just fit perfectly.


The only part I truly disliked was the first line of the second verse, where he says something about watching boobs on the tube. Not cool, Em, not cool ... But the rest? I fuckin' loved it. Even the reference to Hannah Montana. He was jackin' off to a 16 year old? How fuckin' morbid is that? And his flow on the last verse was crazy. Only Em does shit like that.

Do I want a bunch of these murder songs on Relapse? No. Does that discredit 3 AM? No. It's fuckin' dope and I love it.

My thoughts too. I can see how that Boob line could be considered filler but nothing mentally deranged sociopaths do are sane right? This is right up my alley, being a huge fan of Hannibal Lector and Dexter. Love the details.

This is fire!! its basicly got SLIM SHADY all over it, eminem said in the interview that SLIM SHADY is back, and i guess the accent is his new voice for Slim, i mean you cant keep rapping the same for ever, and everybody sayin this song sucks, ur defently plain stupid, the song has a great flow, it has a great beat, and the lyrics are mad, just be thankfull that its not like Encore,

the accent isn't 'bad' on this song..it fits the character of the psycopath in a similar way to im havin a relapse...but he did this voice on we made you too. that's why im worried, cos i want to hear his voice. as good as this song is, its not eminem, its eminem playing another character....if that makes sense.

"Make every flow different and pick unique beats." - that's what eminem sad yesterday at shade 45 about relapse . So there's nothig wrong to his accent . Just listen to the song . It's amazing .

I'd love for this to become a single, because everyone wasn't excepting a concept psycho manic type song. Got to admit, first listen annoyed me a bit with his accent but it's nowhere as bad as We Made You, he just should've toned it down a bit. Lyrically, Em if anything had improved with even more tongue twisted raps (but his flow could've been better). Beat suits the mood and creates the feeling of psycho aswell so props to Dre. Chorus was probably the weakest part of the song, wasn't catchy to sing along to. The outro sounded good and went with the song and so overall, a pretty good song, i think i was abit hasty giving it average because this grows on me.

Now, i'm thinking:" DAMN! Slim Shady is back!" after I listened to Bad Meets Evil, then this, I see slight similarities. It may seem strange, but that's how i see it. I know he's back now.

Yes, Its a great song. but. Not as classic as "I'm Back" or "Kill You" in my opinion, but its a Damn Great song.

What's the deal with Em not cussing? His last three songs have had minimal swearing - not saying it's that important- but its just weird since he always swears in interviews and all his previous songs.
