And really guys, do you acctually believe Dre would let Em do more then a couple of tracks with that accent?

Yes, he probably would. You guys shouldn't have any expectations for what this album will sound like, because there's no way of really knowing.

When I see people say things about the accent "surely not being on all of the songs", I can hope with them, but it just reminds me of when Encore leaked, and so many people were like "No way, this is a fake leak, Eminem is pranking us...no way he'd drop this album". And then he did. So just keep your mind open as far as what could possibly be going on with Relapse.

Hadez wrote:you guys are seriously dismissing everything good about these songs over stupid accent and a fart noise. especially this new song. you guys can't see past the nit picky crap you keep going on about to actually see that "3 A.M." is very creative.

personally i'd give the song a 4.5/5 but whatever. i'll tell your moms you all need a diaper change.

So let me just get this straight.

You're condemning those who dislike 3AM for their reasons, yet you think your opinion is so true that it deserves its own thread?

I do not deny that 3AM has unique flow, sick multis and paints a good atmosphere.

However, i don't care what is said, i just find it hard to enjoy a song where he uses that accent. For We Made You it was okay because that was the first single, but the way past releases are going he seems to have used this accent on every song, and i just can't stand it.

I'm sorry Hadez that i just plain don't like the accent, clearly this makes me infantile and "needing a diaper change".

I understand that everyone wants to stand up for Eminem, I mean we all love him, but honestly you have to look at his music a little more objectively and not just become instantly enamored because it is him.

I do not usually say that someone's argument is stupid, but I just wanna ask, why on earth someone should be objective, if talking about his/her idol? Personnally I don't like a lot fo example 3am, but I like it cuz it's just Eminem. It's always better than other rappers in my opinion :D . I don't like actually rap anymore so much these days because it's kinda booring. Beats repeat themselves too much and rap always has almost same tone (comparing singing).

So if I was in love with Barack Obama, he couldn't make a bad policy? Thats simply stupid to say just because he is Eminem the music is good--and that's the point i'm trying to make, though:

johnny geah wrote:I agree with this too, but I think it works the other way around. Since it is Eminem, and people have been waiting five years for this cd people expect a definitive sound they thought up in there head, and when its not that exact same sound, people are dissapointed. Listen to it as if its not eminem, and just some rapper, and i think the song is great. very cinematic with the imagery in his words, and as a writer, the way he makes words sound however he wants them is crazy

is a very interesting good point.

However I still disagree, if someone like Ash Roth came out with this song, i'd still think it was shit, and I wouldn't bump to it.
How ironic is it that I'm riding around listening to Nickelback? (I'm back!) - Royce
