I honestly think it will be his best since MMLP. I'm so pumped it's unreal.

I feel 3AM is better than We Made You so things are only getting better with each single :D

after hearing 3 AM i've lost a lot of hope for Relapse. As we've all mentioned before - lyrically its ill, there's no denying it (except the part about Hanna Montana) plus the beat is sick but i mean looking at it from an outsiders perspective (not as a Stan who will try as hard as possible to find a reason to enjoy any Em song) it just sounds like some leftover reject retarded Necro song with an annoying voice.

I got sick of We Made you after 1 week, i cant stand hearing it now. Besides for Em's verse on Crack A Bottle (best verse he's spit in quite some time) that whole song was trash - hook, beat, 50, Dre - just ruined it.

The only thing I've enjoyed recently from Em was that 'Im Having A Relapse' freestyle, but then again his voice was annoying as fuck on there too.

Of course, i'm still interested to hear the album and it would be awesome if it turned out to be the classic its supposed to be, but i'm just getting the feeling that i'll listen to it a couple of times, enjoy 3 or 4 songs then go back to bumping Tech N9ne and other better shit. Hopefully im proven wrong though.

As far as sickness, what he said about Jim Brady/Christopher Reeves > Hannah Montanna

I think it might've been worse if we would've said Miley Cyrus though, cos Hannah Montanna is obviously a fictional character.

At this point, I think it's very safe to say Relapse will sound a lot like Slim Shady LP & Marshall Mathers LP, with a twist. I had been thinkin that it will be a lot like The Eminem Show, but this past week has completely changed my thinking. The album cover obviously shows that pills will be a major influence in this album, thats for sure. And on Eminem.com, the background has pills, not to mention that pop somp hills shit. I don't think this album will be serious at all, actually. I doubt it will have a Proof tribute, I doubt it will talk about any of the shit he's been through the past couple of years. I mean, maybe a little it might, but im pretty sure this will have a lot of the "Slim Shady LP" feel to it. In a way, im dissapointed cuz i was hoping for an "Eminem show" type of album. But im sure it will be very lyrical, and crazy as fuck. We should all be very excited

CAB was a single? If 3AM is a glimpse into how dark and lyrical the album will be, I'm feel pretty good about it. There will be a couple of tracks I can't stand but if I'm able to come away 4-5 songs I can play regularly, I'll be satified.

To be honest, he's probably said stupider stuff, even in his early days. We just probably didn't realise because back then we weren't scrutinizing every lyric from him, seeing if he's "too old for it", or whether it's "up to date" or "if it's immature". I think it's funny as fuck.

whoah! 4 or 5 tracks only? That's a pretty weak album. The SSLP for example, I liked about every single track.

fuck yeah, i want an album like SSLP

Yeah...I'm kind of in agreement that this is likely the New voice of Slim Shady. Sort of like on the SSLP, only then it was a nasal voice. He departed from it on songs, but it was most evident on Slim Shady type tracks. I think Relapse is going to be different, and that's what's got me so amp'd about it. Sort of like SSLP was; there were a variety of different flow types on there: I've always loved If I Had, and haven't heard another song like it from him (unless I'm forgetting one). I think that Relapse will be like an underground album almost: except it'll have great production and it's fucking Eminem. It'll be just it's own entity, I believe, apart from the other albums. SSLP with a twist is right, in my eyes. The evolution of Slim Shady.

And I don't think I could be a whole lot more excited while maintaining an air of not really having any expectations of what it's going to sound like. I don't know what it'll sound like, and that's so damn cool. It's just going to be different. The whole deal with Encore was Em was bored. He's definitely not bored on this one. This is going to be great, I think. I'll buy it for sure.

After these 2 singles to be honest my expectations have lowered in the way that I'm having doubts if the album will be as good as I really was expecting it to be. I know I will immediately buy the album but I'm a bit unsure. Not that I think it's going to be bad or anything but whatever I hope I'm proved wrong and it's amazing.
