But if you listen to the way he says the words other than the words he's rhyming there, they're in his normal accent. It's just the fact that the flow is purposely spitfire so he can make it sound like the words are more bunched up to produce verses that sound like they're non-stop rhymes.
And the others...
"Crack a Bottle" - No accent. Just a spitfire flow again.
"We Made You" - Basically no accent. An occasional tint but again mainly the flow and the lyrics.
"3 A.M." - He's using a bit of an accent as a homage to the voice of Buffalo Bill (from The Silence of the Lambs). Which is also obvious as he quotes the most infamous segment of the film in the song.
I think you're right about what you've said about that line from Old Time's Sake. He's using a different pronounciation of a word to make it rhyme, and it's coming out as a different accent. But, this is something the old Eminem never needed to do, he always had the best rhymes, and he was the best rapper (imo) because he said everything very clearly and you could really appreciate the vocals and the lyrics. This new style of rhyming, is pretty annoying. I remember the first time he did this, it was on a freestyle on one of his early mixtapes. I thought, fuck that's cool, then he did it again a little while later, and I thought it was getting old. But, now it's just annoying, and DOES interfere with the enjoyment of a song. I don't wanna just appreciate the rapid flow and good lyrics, because I'm used to Eminem being the complete package, and delivering on all fronts. If he uses this style of rapping throughout the whole album, or even on just a few more tracks, people are probably gonna dislike this album more than Encore.
I think the compliment paid to Eminem about rhyming words that shouldn't rhyme has gone to his head, and that's what he's focussing on now a bit too much. Like when he rhymed in "White America": Closest pal/poster chlid/spokesman now. One critic went bananas, but the great thing about Em back then was he wasn't using bullshit accents to do it. Whereas now it seems to be all he's doing.
Believe me I don't wanna be saying this shit, I'm not a hater. I'm one of the people on here that's been defending him from day one, but some things have to change......for old time's sake.
