Encore???

Going from the Eminem Show to Encore, I felt as if it was missing something. It didnt hit the mark. It was really average. So, I'm asking, what did you guys personally think about Encore? did you atleast enjoy it? if not, what was so wrong with it?

Also, name your fave and least favorite track off Encore.

Fave- Encore..which is pretty sad, cause its the last song on it haha
Least Fave- My 1st Single. I loved the beat, but the lyrics were shit and the chorus...wtf??

Yes encore is a sub-par album, there are many threads as to why

favorite - Like toy Soldiers
Worst - umm its hard, a lotta of the songs suck... but ill go with Ass like that

Encore had its good and bad moments far to much messin around and that could be Relapse`s downfall although lyrically Relapse is gonna destroy Encore.Favorite song is probably Mockingbird although his verse on Spend some time is epic but 50 and Stat wreck the song.The worst song is big weenie apart from the hook didnt mind my first single at all really.

To be honest I aint gonna jump on the bandwagon and say it sucked because in my opinion it don't, and there's a reason for this!

Now if another rapper (white or black) came out with that album it still would have been a hot album, but I think because we all know eminem's ability that everyone thinks it sucked. Compare this album to Asher Roths album and do you still think it sucks? cos in my opinion Ashers wasnt great and I was expecting more from him but if he put out encore it would have jump started his career!! So in that case its not that its a wack album but its just wack by em's abilities. Don't get me wrong it did have a few weak spots like "Rainman", "Big Weenie", & "Ass Like That" but other than that it wasnt actually as bad as people are saying!!

Hell, I think Relapse will be worse than Encore. Encore was a pretty solid album. I was like 10 when it came out and excited as hell. The hype for it, people singing the songs, the promotion, and the music videos just made it like a small event for me. I would play it all the time. Got the album and bumped it everyday.

It just wasn't an Eminem Standard Album. Comparing it to something like MMLP or TES makes it pale in comparison. But it was a GREAT album in general. I can bump that anyday. I even liked the stupid songs. It pwn'd shyt like Fack. Relapse aint gonna be an Eminem Standard album either. Maybe like 4 stand-out songs. I anticipated it so much and so far i'm not that impressed. I dont have that same excited feeling I got when Encore came out.

don't really care for it, i only like toy soldiers, spend some time... the other tracks are okay too but i hardly ever bump them...

encore is hated on too much.. it's not the worst album ever made, but it's def not good neither

Wow you don't think Encore is the worst he's made? I don't hate Encore, it has some good tracks.

But I think it's easily his worst. I consider the first three classics.
