Other artists have done a fake leak before (Ben Folds), but he admitted it before the real CD came out. Why would an artist risk leaking a CD full of fake songs that don't reflect the real album's quality? And no the leak is not fake; you can tell by the quality (production) of the songs and everything else.

Do I wish it was a fake bad version? Yes. But it ain't gonna happen.

of course it would make sense to push the album up for a week but seriously it´s not that important for em, maybe for a artist who´s not selling that much. but em still gonna sell no matter how early the album leaks.. look at lil waynes carter 3, the album leaked a month before its release and it still sold a mill first week..

Yeah its pretty clear that this is relapse that almost every here has now, but there really isnt any such thing as official, only reality or what happens, an artist can say his album is coming next week and gives out a tracklist then 2 months later the album with not one of the same songs except the singles released so just cause something is said doesnt make it true. We are in a recession, money for a lot of people are hard to come by, and when it comes to albums one person not buyin wouldnt matter but when people have the "ill just d/l it at home" mindset, creative marketing and promotion come into play to make people buy the album.
