Lose Yourself Vs. Beautiful

Lose Yourself without a doubt for me. Beautiful is a great song, very inspirational and whatnot. All about being your and not being ashamed and shit, and that's great but I don't have a problem with that. I do however find times when I'm feeling blue because I want to do something but shit just isn't working out so Lose Yourself is a much much more relevant song to my life.

I think it all depends, if you're an inspiring artist, it's Lose Yourself, else it's Beautiful. But the beat to Beautiful is better, cuz it's more complex.

The more I listen to Beautiful, I still have a hard time believe how great of a song it is. It's almost like I thought it was impossible for Em to give us such a great song again. It's not "Stan" obviously (the greatest song in hiphop history in my opinion, but who care lol), but it's right up there with Lose Yourself.

Lose Yourself, easily...

Beautiful is more about Eminem's life. Even though he's talking to someone, I feel like he's just referring to himself. Even at the end, with his little words of inspiration. I don't feel like he's addressing all the people that feel similar to him, but just rather giving his own self inspiration... I hope that makes sense...

Hittin the nail on the head. Unfortunately a lot of EMiem's songs are like that, the hook has nothing to do with the verses, which sucks sometimes. Maybe if the verses were trying to inspire like the chorus, this would be an inspirational song. But, he's basically just down in the dumps, and that first verse is the worst lyrically on the whole album, including the singles.

P.s I wrote a whole paragraph yesterday about how Lose Yourself is so much better than this, and the cunting shit as bitch of a site went dead when I was posting it. That has happened to me too much lately, to the point I couldn't be bothered posting. REally really shit move TrShady made moving the site to a shitty server just when the whirlwind of Eminem interest was on it's way.

P.s.s I really like Beautiful, it's a very good song. Not in the same league as Lose Yourself though, not even in the vacinity.

Lose Yourself definitely because it's much more inspiring to me. The beat gets the adrenaline running, I focus, I think and damn it motivates me in many ways and that's the way it inspires me. Meanwhile I love Beautiful but it doesn't inspire me.

I definitely have to pick Lose Yourself. For me, its more uplifting than Beautiful. And I think that Lose Yourself is such a powerful song because it builds up as it goes on; you can hear the intensity crescendo to its tipping point.

Beautiful is a great track too, but Lose Yourself is classic.

Beautiful.
It's the best song I've heard from Eminem and without a doubt the most inspirational.
When I first heard it, I swear to God I got goosebumps all over my body.
And I told my friend that when I hear it, I just feel like it makes me want to write something amazing, and he was like "couldn't agree more man". So it inspires me to write raps, and does far better than Lose Yourself.

Also, the intro/outro might just be the best fucking intro/outro I have ever heard in my entire life.
