The beat for '3am' sounds a bit like the 'Say Dr. Dre' track by Crooked I. The background anyway.

The sample of what's the difference is taken by this song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TANZ1zxLYqI&feature=PlayList&p=F795FDDF0CA67A29&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=14

So I don't think dre used again the same beat... and I think they're quite differennt...

They're very similar, I noticed that myself.

So basically dre lost inspiration and creativity...

Yeah it's similar, but it's kind of a typical brass arrangement. Ideally, you'd want Dre (and his production team) to be amazingly original/creative with every beats they make, but when you've made 1000+ beats, it's hard to make a beat that doesn't sound like previous beats you made before lol... Plus, Dre has a sound/style that he has to keep. When people want a Dre beat, they want a hard-hitting gangsta beat, they don't want a soft country track or something. :p Making 1000+ hard-hitting gangsta beats that all sound original is, I'm sure you can imagine, pretty hard. I know, I'm like most people here, when I hear a Dre beat, I often think: "all his beats sound the same", but there's more to it really.

True, to be fair to Dre aswell, apart from his own albums its not like he picks what beats Em will use. So if theres beats with similar sounds etc its not really Dres fault...unless its on Detox for example.

Yeah definately, that's a good point too.

None of Dre's beats have creativity. 99% of his music is sampled (proven) and he doesn't do anything but add drums to a melody some dude plays for him. Dre is a hack, this is well known.

True that; however if his beats display the same drum patterns and melodies, then the creativity he had in sampling is lost.
