Bad Relapse Reviews...

Well, I do agree that Eminem's Shady persona is random but I do feel in Relapse he doesn't rap about anything.

However, compared to SSLP/MMLP, he was able to use his Shady persona and stay on topic and write logical raps (ex. As The World Turns or Kim). That's what I miss I guess. It seems like Eminem hasn't grown much from 10 years ago if you listen to SSLP than Relapse.

I honestly feel like songs that he truly wanted to make were ones like "Deja Vu" and "Beautiful" as they seem more reflective of the 36 year old rather than "Insane". But I could be wrong.

I can see both sides of reviews for Relapse; you can argue Em had to revert into Slim Shady and seems desperate to seem shocking/funny OR you can see the humor in some songs and say it's good (ex. My Mom or Stay Wide Awake).

Either way, if you enjoy the CD, fuck what the media say, haha. And if you agree to bad reviews, pray that Relapse 2 is more your liking.

Well we have not really heard from Shady in 8-9 years(bar a few bits and pieces)so maybe it was time to bring him back .I hope Relapse 2 is more personal because we have the mainly Shady album now,but im happy with Relapse the way it is.Its not his best album but its my favorite album in years.

i find comments more fun than that review, like i couldnt care less for someone's opinion that much i try to convince him in something else LOL. I DONT CARE. can people learn to accept other people's opinion? i enjoy relapse, some people dont. end of discussion.

I think Eminem is the only rapper people demand to hear about his personal life in his music.But the thing is they complain then that he goes on about Hailie,Kim and his mother to much so he cant win with some people.He gave us 2 songs about really personal stuff which is more than most would be happy atleast he is back.
