The nine-time Grammy-winning rapper, who had bloated after feasting on fried chicken, fries and burgers, was said to have dropped more than three stones in a desperate bid to get back to his Slim Shady form.
But doctors fear the 36-year-old Academy Award winner may be going too far and not only risks becoming anaemic but could also land his life in danger.
“This would be bad enough if he wasn’t living the non-stop life of a music superstar,” the Daily Star quoted Los Angeles GP Morris Missler as saying.
“Crash diets are extremely dangerous for your heart, liver, kidneys and brain because you lose tissue around them. If you don’t eat enough, your body will actually burn the muscle tissue of the organs themselves to provide you with sufficient energy to function.
“Even without a wildly energetic and adrenalin-charged job, crash dieters risk heart attacks and strokes, liver and kidney failure and most certainly death in extreme cases,” Missler added.
Eminem putting his life 'at risk'

Eminem could die if he keeps adhering to his crash diet.
Doctors have warned the 'We Made You' rapper - who has recently lost 28lbs by cutting alcohol and fatty foods from his diet - he could be putting his life at risk or become anaemic if he keeps on the diet while touring.
US based doctor Morris Missler told Britain's Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Even without a wildly energetic and adrenalin-charged job, crash dieters risk heart attacks and strokes, liver and kidney failure and most certainly death in extreme cases.
"Anaemia could be caused by iron deficiency. Crash dieters are usually deficient in vitamin B12, potassium and sodium
. The last two play an important part in regulating the way your heart beats. If their levels become too low, he could suffer a heart attack."
The 36-year-old rapper - real name Marshall Mathers - has, however, said he will only be eating diet-friendly foods during his next tour and has altered his rider requests to suit his healthy new lifestyle.
A source close to the star said: "He used to live off fried chicken, fries, burgers and his real favourite, drumsticks. Now he's eating only grilled meats and fish, fruit and vegetables, but no refined carbs. His riders are unrecognisable from those of four years ago."- BANG Media International
