SALES REHAB: Based on very preliminary reports, it would appear that Eminem's Relapse, which hit retail today, will sell somewhere in the mid-500k range, and easily top next week's HITS Album sales chart. Can it hit 600k? If these early figures hold up, that would make it the year's highest-selling debut of the year, giving Jimmy Iovine's Interscope the top two bows of the year, including U2's No Line on the Horizon, which entered at #1 with 480k back in March. most likely they're about right with 550-600. HDD is always pretty accurate even after one day. They have access to resources or else they'd wait before throwing a number out there. There's formulas and shit to predict week sales pretty accurately even after one day.

green day only shifted just over 200,000 for this weeks billboard so 650k from Relapse even with it being a reccesion and with it leaking 2 weeks before is pretty dam good... could still do more yet...

It will inevitably be compared to The poxy Carter 3`s 1st week sales so hopefully these projections are wrong.Even though the MMLP or TES on there own have outsold Waynes probably Cash Moneys discography his fans wont look at it that way and they love getting digs in on Thisis50 and all.

People outside America or Canada dont give 2 fucks about Wayne and not being from either country its worldwide sales that matter more(not makin excuses for 1st week in America,its just i look at the bigger picture).

Well whatever he sells The Rebirth will be soon after so there will be a better comparison.
