Eminemnow wrote:All the tracks are great for different reasons. So many flows. Hmm... In no order of favourtism:

1. My Mom
2. Medicine Ball
3. Stay Wide Awake
4. Deja Vu
5. Beautiful

But I also LOVE "Hello" and "Same Song & Dance" I think a lot of people (especially critics) really don't get the intended appeal of "Same Song & Dance" lol.

I've seen stuff saying he sounds "tired" or "bored" on it, which is just... Funny. As he's PURPOSELY applied a laid back smooth flow to heighten the creepy nature of it lol. The fact he's rapping so chilled and effortlessly about such an odd situation IS the point.

Also, he said he made it like that and called it that to get women in clubs dancing to it without really listening to it and knowing what the fuck they were dancing to. And once you learn that I think the track is hilarious, knowing the intent.

You don't like Underground :o
"Proof, No matter how much time passes, not a day goes by that I don't think of you. If it weren't for you, I would not be where I am today and we both know it. I tried to write song for you but nothing was good enough, so I'm dedicating them all to you-and you'd be happy to know that I spazzed out on 'em gain!I know you wouldn't have it any other way! Fuck 'em all--let's get 'em!
P.S. I'm sober now, I know you'd be proud. I love you Doody, I'll never forget you. Love, Doody "

Yeah, that's spot on. The calm delivery on that haunting beat just makes it so eerie.

Mine goes:

1. Same Dong & Dance
2. 3am
3. Beautiful
4. Underground
5. Insane

Damn, I replied to this topic ages ago, the damn board must've jammed mid-post (again for the umpteenth time, lol).

1. Deja Vu: Brilliant hook, and great verses too that stay on tpoic, and are really relevant to the album title
2. Stay Wide Awake : Great track from start to finish, but the Second verse is unbelievable
3. Underground : Best he's delivered a song in a long time, back on the alpha male shit.
4. Beautiful: Not very lyrical but good concept, and a great chorus.
5. My Mom: Hilarious lyrics, stacks of multi's and a great hook.

Really hard leaving out 3 a.m, Insane, Bagpipes Form Baghdad and Medicine Ball. But if I had a 6, 7, 8 & 9th favourite that'd be them. My top 3 I like equally, but If I have to put them in numbered order, this is it
