Eminem will add his star power to the 9th Annual BET Awards, Rap-Up.com has exclusively learned.

The controversial rapper will grace the awards stage for the second time, insiders tell Rap-Up.com. Eminem appeared as Busta Rhymes’ surprise guest during his “Touch It (Remix)” performance in 2006. An official announcement could come as soon as tomorrow when Em stops by “106 & Park.”

Before he heads to the BET Awards, Slim Shady will go live at the MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, Calif., on May 31.

Kanye West, Beyoncé, Soulja Boy Tell’em, Ne-Yo, and Maxwell have been announced as performers for the BET Awards 2009. Jamie Foxx will host the show, which airs live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. EST/PST.
