I heard somewhere a long time ago that he got the idea of making the song about a possessed fan from another person who had such a fan. Don't know who that person was though.

Yeah em fans are crazy, I think mostly cause so many people relate to his music, that people use his music for a coping mechanism for their lives and shit. But no it's not a true story.
